The President welcomed members and introduced our speaker. Penelope Horsfallwho gave an interesting, amusing and lively talk on her year as Mayor of the Borough of Reigate and Banstead.

UPDATES
The Christmas Meal on the 19th December was thoroughly enjoyed by 15 members at the Beehive.
Last month’s talk on Standen was appreciated by those members who members who braved the snow and ice.

Members were asked if they would like to attend the Annual Council meeting on Monday 20th March 2023 at the Dorking Halls.
WI Advisor Catch Up via zoom on Tuesday 17th March at 7pm.
SFWI
Speakers Auditions to be held at Betchworth Memorial Hall on Monday 6th March 2023 - board available for signing.
Quiz
At Bletchingly on Friday 17th March in aid of Oxted and Edenbridge Show - signing board available.
RESOLUTIONS
Angela read out the three proposed Resolutions to the meeting. All eligible members voted, and the majority of votes was for Resolution 3, Clean Rivers for People and Wildlife. The result will brsubmitted.
COFFEE MORNING
The next coffee morning will be at Squires Garden Centre, Buckland on Friday 27th January at 10.30am

Book Club 2 Wednesday 25th January for lunch at the Black Horse.
Craft Thursday 2nd February at the Beehive at 7 30 pm
Quiz Every Tuesday at the Beehive 8pm for 8.30pm cost £1

Members were asked for suggestions: amongst them Playreading, Garden and Walks.
Marilyn kindly offered to re start the Knitting Group at her house. Members who are interested will discuss a suitable day.
